11 Natural remedies for morning sickness!

Pregnancy is always associated with morning sickness. Which makes sense since more than half of American woman suffer from morning sickness. While their is no cure for it, I have compiled a list of remedies that may work for you.
Citrus- Lemons, grapefruit, ect all may help with sickness. Sometimes even the smell will help.
Smells- Certain smells can trigger sickness. If the smell of coffee always makes you sick, don’t go into a Starbucks. Sometimes avoiding things can be the easiest cure.
Ginger- History tells us that ginger has been used as a proven remedy for morning sickness.
Rest- I know when I am over tired, I tend to feel nauseous. Add that with pregnancy hormones and you have a recipe for disaster. Be sure that you are getting plenty of rest.

Slow and steady- Avoiding sudden movements can help ease an upset stomach. Take you time getting out of bed and such.
Water- Make sure that you are hydrated!
Graze- Small frequent meals can help you avoid the overly full feeling. Eat what you can, when you can.
Peppermint- The cooling effect of peppermint can calm one’s tummy. Try sucking on a peppermint candy.
Vitamin B6- Make sure that your pregnancy supplements have it. It will help combat morning sickness.
Acupressure wristbands- Wristbands such as Seabands
The biggest piece of advice I can give to newly expecting moms, is to give yourself time. Your body is preparing to grow and birth a baby. Your hormones have gone cray cray and sometimes we just can’t keep up with it. Be patient and easy on yourself. After all, you are growing a human!
